Transitions lenses – Right in any light.

A recent survey in Britain revealed that almost half the population is light sensitive and could benefit from sun protective lenses. We estimate that the numbers are not that different here in Ireland. That is why we’d like to tell you about Transitions lenses, a new development in variable tint lenses which means you can have both sun lenses and clear lenses in just a single pair of spectacles.

In bright outdoor light, you may often experience glare and discomfort. But Transitions lenses darken in outdoor light, then become clear again once you’re inside. So you see more comfortably, both indoors and out without the need to swap from prescription sunglasses to clear lenses.

Transitions lenses are the latest in lightweight photochromic technology. Also, they only go as dark as the sunshine requires while still giving you 100% protection from UVA and UVB radiation at any time.
